ABOUT PFID—F&V PEOPLE
The PFID—F&V Team includes a highly a skilled and experienced group of faculty researchers and technical professionals with expertise extending throughout the fruit and vegetable supply chain and across the food industry. Individual team members come with industry experience working:
- As a marketing expert with W.K. Kellogg Company;
- As a restaurant owner and independent entrepreneur in food processing;
- As international development professionals on USAID and World Bank projects;
- As professors and administrative staff with expertise in business, agricultural economics, agricultural extension, food science, packaging, etc.
- As a manager in the hospitality industry;
- A strong pool of consultants with experience as buyers for major retail businesses, experts in traceability, marketing specialty niche products, etc.
Advisory Board members offer a complementary collection of: horticultural scientists, retailers, packaging experts, food safety, sociology, etc.
