Projects

PFID-F&V has worked in over half a dozen countries througout the past 8 years. Getting projects is a long process that begins with exploring areas of need and matching them with potential donor resources. The most typical financial method for PFID-F&V initiatives have been USAID Country Mission buy-ins where funds are made available for specific programs.

In most cases, USAID Country Missions develop a detailed scope of work and issue a request for proposal (RFP) outlining what is needed to fulfill expectations in support of each mission's strategic objectives. In response to RFP's, PFID-F&V develops the technical approach addressing the objectives along with an itemized budget for all expenses needed. A timeline is attached for programmatic objectives and expenditures, which are subject to a strict monitoring and evaluation protocol proposed and agreed with each country mission.
